Ronald A. Rix
Montgomery, Texas- Ronald A. Rix of Montgomery passed away Sunday (Jan. 4, 2009).
Born Jan. 5, 1954, in Olean, N.Y., he was a son of the late Alvin Rix and Onnalee Button.
Surviving are his wife, Candy; stepsons, Kenneth (Margaret) Dickerson Jr. of Bolivar, N.Y., and Christopher (Christina) Jenkins of Derby, N.Y.; a sister, Donna (Ron) Stonemetz of Starke, Fla.; his stepfather, William "Bill" Button of Portville, N.Y.; stepbrother, Eric Bergman of Conroe; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Patricia Rix Harmon and Bonnie Rix McDaniel.
A memorial service will be held Thursday (Jan. 8, 2009) at 2:30 p.m. at the Klein Funeral Home in Magnolia.
An additional memorial service will be scheduled in Olean at a later date.
