Jeffery L. Burt
Marvindale, PA- Jeffery L. Burt, 58, of Marvindale Road died unexpectedly Friday (Feb. 12, 2010) at his residence.
Born Dec. 9, 1951, in Olean, NY, he was a son of Lowell A. and Ida I. Roberts Burt. On Feb. 12, 1977, in Kersey, he married Charlotte Freeburg, who survives.
Mr. Burt was a graduate of Smethport High School and received an associate degree in horticulture from Williamsport Area Community College.
Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Danielle Burt of Arlington, Va., Jennifer (Imran) Durrani of Pittsburgh and Ashley Burt of Arlington; a son, Jason Burt of Smethport; three grandchildren, Yasmine Durrani, Aysha Durrani and Sameer Durrani; a brother, Lowell Burt of Portville, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Ziane Burt.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home Inc., Mount Jewett, today from 7 to 9pm and Tuesday (Feb. 16, 2010) from noon to 1pm, at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Bruce Kuhmer will officiate. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
