Edward A. (Ted) Pinchock
PORT ALLEGANY- Edward A. (Ted) Pinchock, 75, of Pearl St. died Friday (Feb. 19, 2010) in Smethport, PA.
He was a son of Andrew and Lora B. Carlson Pinchock. In May, 1957, in Port Allegany, he married Barbara A. Daniels, who died Sept. 2, 1968.
Mr. Pinchock was employed by Ball-Incon Co. (now Saint-Gobain Container Co.) Port Allegany, for many years as a tank operator, before his retirement.
He was a veteran, having served with the US Army.
He was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, Class of 1952.
Surviving are a daughter, Mari-Jo A. (Rick) Trimm of Port Allegany; three sons, Edward A. Pinchock, II of Gaines, PA, Patrick A. (Jennifer) Pinchock and Jeffery S. Pinchock both of Port Allegany; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Evalee K. Ostrom of Roulette, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara, a son, Gary A. Pinchock, a grandson, and a brother Richard C. Pinchock.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at later date to be announced.
Memorials can be made to the Port Area Ambulance Service or American Cancer Society.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
