TUNESCAPE IN CONCERT MARCH 11TH
The Celtic band Tunescape will be in concert on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 7:00pm-8:30pm at the Oswayo Valley Elementary School, 277 Oswayo Street, Shinglehouse, Pa. Tunescape members are: Jodi Austin, piano, Tim Ball, fiddle, and Peter Blue, fiddle, Rachel Bell, accordion.
Rachel Bell is a local musician who teaches elementary music at Bolivar-Richburg School and resides in Shinglehouse, Pa. Tunescape features driving, energetic Celtic music and will include tunes from France, Quebec, Scotland, England, Ireland, Scandinavia, and New England, as well as newly written tunes.
Community folk dancing will be led by expert dance teacher Sarah VanNorstrand. All steps will be taught, no fancy footwork or experience required!
