Donalee G. Dudley
PORT ALLEGANY- Donalee G. Dudley, 64, died Friday (Apr. 9, 2010) in UPMC Shady Side Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, after a brief illness.
Born November 12, 1945, in St. Mary's, PA, she was a daughter of Kenneth and Betty Wertz Dudley.
Ms. Dudley had worked for the Sylvania Co. (now GTE) formerly of Emporium, and Emporium Specialties of Austin, PA.
She was a lifetime resident of the area and a graduate of Port Allegany High School, Class of 1963.
She was a lifetime member of the Star Hose Ladies Auxiliary, Port Allegany, and American Association of Retired Persons.
Surviving are three sons, George C. (Elaine) LeCrone of Mercerville, NJ, Kenneth A. (Tracy) LeCrone, Jr. of Troupsburg, NY, Dale A. LeCrone of Weatherly, PA; a daughter, Flora J. (Bob) Nye of Roulette; several grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Parris of Farmers Valley, PA; step-mother, Cleda Dudley of Port Allegany; two step-brothers, Edward (Cherryl) Fink of McAllen, TX, Lloyd (Barbara) Fink of Port Allegany; two step-sisters, Leona (Duane) Ostrum of Emporium, PA, Vera Stuckey of McAllen, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Betty Dudley, and a daughter, Cleda Marie Dudley.
Friends will be received from 11-1 p.m. Tuesday (Apr. 13, 2010) in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Michael Culver, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Port Allegany, officiating. Burial will be in Card Creek Cemetery, Roulette.
Memorials can be made to the Star Hose Fire Department or the Star Hose Ladies Auxiliary.
