Fred Robert (Hollow) Gray
CLEARWATER, FL - Fred Robert "Hollow" Gray, 29, of Clearwater, formerly of Portville, NY, passed away at his home on May 17, 2010.
Mr. Gray worked for Daniel Insulation in Clearwater.
He was nominated for best bassist at the 2005 Metal Awards and played in the band End of the Rope which won best Metal Album.
Survivors include his daughter, Addisyn Gray; wife Kelly Gray; his mother, Isabel Gray; brothers, David Gray and "Stress," Charlie and Ken of End of the Rope; sisters, Elaine (Roger) Gray-Williams, Barbara (Dale) Gray-Baker, Cathy (Jim) Gray-Garland and Cheryl (Jerry) Gray-Newell; nieces Amanda Cline-Tuttle, Aubrey Blanchard, Logyn Blanchard, Kate Williams, Erica Garland and Katie Garland; and nephews, Boedy Williams and Geoff Gray.
He was predeceased by his father, Chester Gray; and a niece, Sarah Blanchard.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 11, 2010, at Cojones Cantina in Olean, NY.
All friends and family and fans are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to his daughter's education fund, either at the memorial service or by mailing to Isabel Gray, P.O. Box 86, Portville, NY 14770.
