Edmund (Kuser) Scott


SALAMANCA, NY - Edmund "Kuser" Scott, 62, of 4 New St., Salamanca, died Friday evening (May 29, 2010) at his home following a short illness.
    Born Feb. 20, 1948, in Salamanca, he was the son of the late Walter and Ruby Halter Scott. He was married on May 27, 1989, in Salamanca to the former Mary McGovern, who survives.
    Mr. Scott was a U.S. Army veteran, serving with the Eighth Army from 1968 to 1970.
    He was employed at the former Salco Fixtures Plant in Salamanca prior to his retirement.
    Mr. Scott was a member of the Square Circle Club in Kill Buck.
    Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Terry (Cindy) Boardman of Newport News, VA, and Travis (Carolyn) Boardman of Salisbury, MD; two sisters, Shelia Stewart of Frewsburg, and Delia (David) Butler of Versailles, PA; a brother, William "Clayton" Scott of Friendship; and special friends Donald (Sharon) Coast of Portville and several nieces and nephews.
    A son, Todd Boardman, predeceased Mr. Scott in death.
    There will be no visitation.
    Burial will be in Little Valley Rural Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The O'Rourke & O'Rourke, Inc., Funeral Home, Salamanca, is in charge of arrangements.
