Theodore E. Gray
FRANKLINVILLE, NY - Theodore E. Gray of Wenrick Hill Road died Thursday (June 3, 2010) at Olean General Hospital following a short illness.
Born April 30, 1928, in Friendship, he was a son of George F. Gray Sr. and Leah Baldwin.
Mr. Gray served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1959 was in Korea from 1950 to 1952. He was a machinist at Dresser-Clark in Olean for 30 years, retiring in 1995.
Mr. Gray was a member of the Franklinville Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are a son, George A. Gray; a half-sister, Thelma Weller of Franklinville; two stepbrothers, Herman Cummins of Greenwood and Loren Cummins of Machias, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his stepmother, Thelma Gray; a brother,Rodney Gray; a half-brother, George F. Gray Jr.; a sister, Jean Nugent; and two stepsisters Mary Cummins and Joanne Cummins.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held privately in Mount Hope Cemetery in Friendship.
