Phyllis J. Feely
BOLIVAR, NY - Phyllis J. Feely, 71, of 200 Olive St. passed away Thursday (June 17, 2010) at Olean General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born March 10, 1939, in Pittsburg, KY, she was a daughter of Edward and Gladys Onkst Parker. On Feb. 14, 1969, in Allegany, she married Ivan "Lew" Feely, who survives.
Phyllis was a graduate of Bolivar Central School class of 1957. She was employed by the First Trust Bank in Bolivar for 17 years and later by Cuba Memorial Hospital in administration for 11 years, retiring in 2007.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Barry (Sherri) McKay of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Scott McKay of Rochester; several stepchildren; and several grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Peggy Stephen; and a brother, Radford Parker.
Memorial visitation will be held at the Schaffner Funeral Home, Inc., Bolivar, on Wednesday (June 23, 2010) from noon to 2 p.m. A private family memorial service will follow with the Rev. David Herne of Heritage AFlame Ministries officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Bolivar.
