Patricia L. Arnold
loving wife, mother and grandmother
PORTVILLE, NY - Patricia L. Arnold of 983 Portville-Olean Road passed away Sunday (June 27, 2010) at home surround by her loving family.
Born Nov. 26, 1960, in Cuba, she was a daughter of Francis S. and Ruby H. Singleton Brown. On July 18, 1986, in Portville, she married Allen S. Arnold, who survives.
Mrs. Arnold worked at Portville Central School and at Dollar General in Olean before becoming ill.
She enjoyed reading, spending time with her grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye, playing Skip-Bo and working on her family tree.
Surviving besides her husband of 24 years are her mother, Ruby H. Brown of Westons Mills; a son, Maurice A. Arnold of Portville; two daughters, Heather R. Austin and Mistie D. Arnold, both of Portville; four grandchildren; two brothers, Francis D. (Maria T.) Brown of Olean and Harold G. (Nancy) Brown of Cuba; and a sister, Darla A. (John) Lee of Amarillo, TX.
She was predeceased by her father and a brother, Daryl W. Brown, who died June 6, 2010.
Friends will be received at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc., 646 E. State St., Olean, on Wednesday (June 30, 2010) from 2 to 4 p.m., at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. Steven W. Beattie, pastor of the United Pentecostal Church in Olean, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
