CLINTON C. (CASEY) CASE,


loving family man
    CUBA- Clinton C. "Casey" Case, 76, of 8351 Hubbell Hill Road, town of Cuba, passed away suddenly Tuesday (Aug. 3, 2010) shortly after arrival at Olean General Hospital.
  He was born Feb. 3, 1934, in East Cuba on a morning that was 54 degrees below zero, a son of Alton Case and Sarah L. Snyder. On May 23, 1953, he married June M. MacDonald, who went to heaven in October 2003. On July 8, 2006, in St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, he married Elaine Damon, who survives.
  Mr. Case was a self-employed excavating contractor from 1972 until his death. He also built homes in New York, including Long Island, Kentucky and Florida and at one time was owner of Case Lumber Co.
  He was a past member of the Spring Valley Rod and Gun Club, Cuba Rod and Gun Club, LICA (Land Improvement Contractors of America) and the Moose Club of Ruskin, Fla.
  Surviving are four daughters, Bonnie L. Downs of Nevada, Julie Ann (William) Kratts of Kentucky, Susan (Alan) Ravenhall of New Suffolk and Joyce L. (William) Raimondi of Cuba; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four stepsons, Darrel (Paula) Damon of Salem, Wis., DeMerle Robert (Gail) Damon of Barker, David (Susan) Damon of Lake Forest, Calif., and Daniel (Deb) Damon of South Wales; 10 step grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Butts of West Clarksville and Donna (Robert) Case-Clayson of Cuba Lake; a sister-in-law, Jean E. MacDonald Searl of Pavilion; and several nieces and nephews.
  In addition to his first wife and parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, D. Alton Case, Burton Case and Russell Case; and two sisters, Reah Gere and Arlouine Davis.
  Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service Inc., 9 Bull St., Cuba, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday (Aug. 7, 2010) from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time funeral services will be held. The Rev. William Sylor, pastor of the Genesis Bible Church and a nephew of Mr. Case's, will officiate. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery.
