Charles B. Furman
Coneville, PA----Charles B. “Charlie” Furman, 54, of Coneville, died Sunday, August 8, 2010 in the Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford, after a long illness.
Born December 4, 1955 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was a son of Calvin B. and Alverta B. Beiling Furman.
Mr. Furman attended school in Ulysses.
He loved to ride his bicycle and enjoyed helping his brother in his woodworking shop. He also enjoyed hunting.
Surviving are his father of Coneville; two brothers, Frank D. (Kate) Furman of Coudersport and David D. (Cathy) Furman of North Bingham; two half brothers, Dorwin Furman of Coudersport and David B. Furman of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother.
A memorial service will be held at a place and date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
