Pamela A. Worth


her grandchildren were the loves of her life
    BOLIVAR, NY - Pamela A. Worth, 60, of 7983 Route 40, passed away Saturday (Aug. 21, 2010) in Olean General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
    Born on Jan. 3, 1950, she was a daughter of Edward and Virginia Cummings Miller and Kenneth Howard. On March 2, 1968, in Portville, she married Terry Worth, who survives.
    Pam was a graduate of Richburg Central School. She was formerly employed by Olean General Hospital as a nursing assistant, Cuba Cheese Co., and was a custodian at the Portville Central School, Portville and Hinsdale Post Office. She was a former member of the West Clarksville Fire Department.
    Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Jay E. (April) Worth, of Bolivar, and Brian M. Worth of Olean; two grandchildren, Parker J. Worth and Willow B. Worth, five sisters, Janice (Jim) Clark, Patty (Pete) McKay, Karen Miller, Connie Hunt, Virginia Seamon; five brothers, John  (Lisa) Miller, James (Bonnie) Miller, Brent (Pam) Howard, Drew (Karen) Howard, Steve (Gerry) Howard; a special friend, Kim Torrey; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Johnson, a brother, Bim Miller, and two nephews, Jarrod Skiver and Wesley Skiver.
    Friends may call on Monday (Aug. 23, 2010) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the West Clarksville Baptist Church. Pastor Leslie Chambers will officiate. Burial will be in Bowler Memorial Cemetery in Little Genesee.
    Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road, North Rochester, NY 14609-5831.
    Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schaffner Funeral Home, Inc., Bolivar.
