Jacquelyn Ann Woods Marowski
PORTSMOUTH, VA - Jacquelyn Ann Woods Marowski, 62, of Croatan Trail died unexpectedly Tuesday (Aug. 17, 2010) in Portsmouth.
Born Feb. 29, 1948, in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of the late Ferman and Rose Butler Woods.
Jackie attended Olean schools and worked as a cook in several restaurants and nursing homes in New York and Indiana.
She will always be remembered by her beautiful smile and her willingness to always help other people. She loved her family very much and loved baking and cooking for them. She will be with her Lord and His angels forever.
Surviving are three sons, Timothy Marowski and Steven (fiancee Theresa Tambash) Marowski of Virginia, J.J. (Kris) Marowski of Tennesee; a daughter, Tonya Budinger of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Richard Woods of Pennsylvania and David (Lori) Woods of Oklahoma; four sisters, LouElla (Orren) Brace, Rose Sears and Darlene (Walt) Wojewoda, all of Olean, and Betty George of Portville., NY; nine grandchildren; and great-grandson; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Tony Aquino.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy Zybert; a granddaughter, Amber Miles; a sister, Patricia Schnieder; three brothers, LaVerne, Leon and Robert Woods; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday (Aug. 28, 2010) at 1 p.m. at the Olean Revival Center, 146 N. 13th St., with Pastor Ron Frazier officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family may be left with Pastor Frazier.
