Francis M. Francis Reynolds
CUBA, NY - Francis M. Francis Reynolds, of Cuba and formerly of the Franklin Street Apartments in Franklinville, died Tuesday (Aug. 31, 2010) at the Cuba Skilled Nursing facility where she made her home the past few years.
Born July 4, 1916, in Mt. Morris, she was a daughter of Frank S. Jones and May Christy Bowen. On Oct. 10, 1936, in Franklinville, she married Roland L. Francis. On Sept. 4, 1971, in Franklinville, she married Willard R. Reynolds, who died Nov. 11, 1986.
Mrs. Reynolds was a graduate of Ten Broeck Academy in Franklinville. She was very active and liked to help others. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the Bonecka Chapter 522 Order of Eastern Star, member of the farm bureau, Meals On Wheels and Boy Scouts. She enjoyed helping out with community fundraisers and did craft and bake sales and also was an election monitor. Mrs. Reynolds was loved by many and enjoyed travel and to be on the go. She also was an active member of Franklinville Presbyterian Church. Let peace and God be with her forever for we will miss her.
Mrs. Reynolds is survived by a daughter, Margaret (Roy) Gilliland of Bolivar; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Richard S. Francis, on May 28, 2000.
There will be a private service with interment to be in Mount Prospect Cemetery in Franklinville.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home, Franklinville.
