John H. Austin
Bradford- John H. Austin, 50, of W. Washington St., passed away Sunday (Feb. 20, 2011) at his residence unexpectedly.
Born Feb. 8, 1961, in Ridgewood, NJ, he was a son of Neil and Eunice Brown Austin.
He was a resident of the area for 10 years, coming from San Franciso, CA, and Port Allegany.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bradford, and volunteered at the Bradford soup kitchen. He enjoyed working on computers; was very artistic, and enjoyed photography.
Surviving are his father, Neil Austin of Trenton, NJ; two brothers, Neil (Marcia) Austin of Coudersport, Peter Austin of Illinois; and two sisters, Debra S. (Willard) Bussard of North Rose, NY, twin sister Christine T. (Andrew) Conway of Wolcott, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eunice Austin.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 23, 2011) in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Leon Canfield, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery, Roulette.
Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church, Bradford.
